Many habitats.

Foodplant

Common nettle.

Lifestage data

Leaf roller. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva forms a rolled leaf and lives within but, easily spooked, it drops from a silk thread if disturbed. Pupates in a large silk-lined chamber in leaves of foodplant.
